Galaxy F70e 5G Specifications Revealed
Samsung’s upcoming smartphone, the Galaxy F70e 5G, has appeared again on the Google Play Console, this time with detailed specifications. Earlier, only the model number was visible, but now we know more about the processor, operating system, and display.
The device, codenamed A07x, will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with a Mali‑G57 GPU. It will come with 4GB of RAM and the latest Android 16 operating system, making it one of the first entry‑level devices to adopt the newest Android version. The display resolution is listed as 720×1600, with a pixel density of 300 DPI.
A Renamed Galaxy A07 5G
The listing also shows the model number SM‑A076M, which matches the Galaxy A07 5G. The placeholder image on the Google Play Console is identical to the design confirmed on Samsung’s Myanmar website. This strongly suggests that the Galaxy F70e 5G is essentially a rebranded version of the Galaxy A07 5G.
Similar Strategy With Galaxy M17e 5G
Samsung seems to be following the same approach with the Galaxy M17e 5G, which also appeared in the Google Play Console. Like the F70e, the M17e is based on the Galaxy A07 5G and limited to 4GB RAM. Both models appear to be simplified derivatives of the A07 5G, tailored for different online sales platforms.

Naming Strategy Changes
Traditionally, Samsung has rebranded its A‑series models into F‑series and M‑series devices, sold through Flipkart and Amazon in India. For example, the Galaxy A0X 5G series would later appear as Galaxy F0X 5G and Galaxy M0X 5G.
This year, however, Samsung seems to be changing its naming convention. Instead of Galaxy F07 5G and Galaxy M07 5G, the company is expected to release them as Galaxy F70e 5G and Galaxy M17e 5G. This shift could mark a new phase in Samsung’s strategy for budget 5G smartphones.

According to tech blogger Sujit Ram, Samsung’s move shows how the company is adapting to the competitive low‑cost 5G market. “By rebranding and simplifying its lineup, Samsung can reach more customers through different online platforms. The Galaxy F70e 5G may become a popular choice for budget‑conscious buyers who still want the latest Android experience,” he explains.
