The official version is expected in 2025, with six beta releases planned for the Galaxy S24 series. The rollout schedule includes Beta 4 this month, Beta 5 in March, and Beta 6 in April.
One UI 7.1 release might also get postponed owing to the delay. Instead, Samsung may be planning to release a “One UI 7.0.1” upgrade that will likely launch alongside the company’s next-gen foldables.
On one hand, Google is expected to release Android 16 sometime in mid-2025, which will make updating the Samsung flagships a little complicated. Such a protracted delay is unprecedented for the Galaxy flagship OS update from Samsung.
