Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Pro, has surfaced in leaked CAD renders, revealing major design and hardware changes. This model will replace the Galaxy S25 and marks a shift in Samsung’s lineup — the long‑running “Plus” variant is being dropped in favor of a new Galaxy S26 Edge.
Fresh Camera Design
The most noticeable change is at the back. The triple‑lens setup is still vertically aligned, but now sits inside a pill‑shaped camera island instead of protruding directly from the chassis like on the S25. The lenses themselves also appear to have a refreshed look, hinting at upgraded optics.
Bigger Display, Familiar Shape
The Galaxy S26 Pro will feature a 6.3‑inch display, slightly larger than its predecessor. Dimensions are listed at 149.3 × 71.4 × 6.96mm (or 110.23mm including the camera bump). The phone keeps its flat rear panel, centered punch‑hole front camera, and slim, uniform bezels. Side buttons remain on the right, and the frame is made from aluminum and glass.
Next‑Gen Performance
Under the hood, the S26 Pro is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, specially tuned for Galaxy devices. Some regions may also get an Exynos variant. RAM could go up to 16GB, aimed at boosting AI‑powered features. The battery capacity has been increased from 4,000mAh to 4,300mAh for longer use.
Qi2 Wireless Charging
Samsung is adding a built‑in magnet inside the housing to support the Qi2 wireless charging standard, similar to Apple’s MagSafe and Google’s latest Pixel devices. However, reverse wireless charging (Wireless PowerShare) may not be included.

Camera Upgrades
The ultra‑wide camera is reportedly getting a huge jump from 12MP to 50MP, promising sharper and more detailed shots. Details about the main and telephoto lenses are still under wraps, but as a “Pro” model, significant improvements are expected.
Launch Timeline
If Samsung follows its usual schedule, the Galaxy S26 series will be officially announced in January 2026. While these leaks are based on CAD renders and some details could change, the overall design direction appears to be set.
